It just doesn’t seem like a year has past since I posted about my dog Zeus’s 1st birthday. But what a year we’ve had! In the last year, Zeus has competed in a total of seven Sieger shows, and placed in every single one – including two V1 finishes:
Zeus also finished his UKC Champion title (CH) and earned his IABCA adult International Champion title in this last year. The transformation he’s made in the last year has been nothing short of amazing. At 12 months, we felt like it would be fun to show Zeus now and again, but he wouldn’t be a serious competitor. Now Zeus is a top rated Rottweiler who has competed against and beaten some of the top Rottweilers in North America. We could not be more proud!
On the working/performance side of things, Zeus has been earning titles in Rally Obedience both in UKC and AKC, as well as begining to train in Schutzhund/IPO.
Zeus will be competing (starting later this month) in the Open Adult class. We think it’s very possible he can go V1 in this class, and perhaps even take home a Sieger! This is something we could not have thought possible one year ago.
