BASEMENT

The basement level was in pretty rough shape, but had lots of possibilities.

Before shots – this first shot is the central area of the basement which you walk into either from the garage or from the upstairs.  This was targeted for my office and photo studio:

This room is off of the door in the top right photo above – I had this pegged for our home gym:

Finally, this room is through the entrance way in the left hand side of the first before photo.  The previous owner used it as a pool room, and had a bar in back.  I planned on making this my home theater room:

After photos:  Here’s my office – we did re-do the lighting after these photos were taken, and got rid of the old canned lights, and put in ceiling light fixtures in the office and gym, and recessed lighting in the home theater room:

My photo studio:

Our dog’s cages now go in this area…in our next house, they’re getting their own room!  😀  😀

Finally, my favorite room of the house – the home theater.  We had a riser built for the couch which serves as the 2nd row seating, and all the equipment is behind the bar:
