Summer is a busy time, so I’ve been a little spotty with my participation in the Tuesday Tactical Training (T3) League at Sim-Trainer this summer.  But I did manage to attend last night, and was very happy I did.  The competition at Sim-Trainer is normally pretty stiff – the group which attends aren’t firearm amateurs to be sure.  We regularly get law enforcement personnel, military personnel, and even some experienced competitive shooters who come out to the league shoots.

Last night was a personal best for me – here’s a quick iPhone 4 photo of the score sheet I took after both myself and my buddy John Rigano ran the course:

Just click on the image to see a larger view – I put a yellow mark next to my entry on the score sheet.

Now, I’m clearly not the fastest guy out there, but I was very pleased with my accuracy.  85 our of 100 on the first course of fire, and a perfect 160 out of 160 on the second!

Here’s some video footage of me running both courses:

As you can see from the video, the second course was particularly challenging as you had to make a total of 8 shots on a moving target, while you moved to cover.

As always, I used my 4.5″ Springfield Armory XD(m) 9mm in the competition.
