On Saturday, August 5th 2023 I got to attend my first Red Brick Reunion in Oxford, Ohio. The Red Brick Reunion is one of the best Porsche car shows in the country – it’s been going on since at least 2017 (per the competition results on their web page) though I believe it began prior to 2017. I’ve wanted to attend for years, but my never had the date available on my calendar until this year. As someone who has toured the Porsche Car Museum in Stuttgart, Germany I can tell you I’ve never before seen as many or as varied Porsche cars in one gathering. As both a photographer, and long time Porsche car fan (and former owner), it was easily the best car show I’d attended all year. If you plan on attending, I’d advise arriving early to get parking (7:30am wouldn’t be too early) and of course wear comfortable shoes. The cars are lined up on the main street of charming Oxford, but you’ll find plenty parked on the side streets as well.
Most of these photos were taken with both my Canon R5 and R6 using the RF 24-70 f2.8, the RF 85mm f1.2 DS, and a Sigma 35mm f1.4 using an EF to RF adapter (when will Canon finally release their new RF 35mm 1.2??).
This one is already on my calendar for next year (8/10/24). See you there!
