In April of this year, I went downtown to the Oregon District for another photo shoot in the downtown Dayton area.  It was the first time I’d been downtown to photograph in several years.  This weekend I went back.  I wanted to test out my new FujiFilm X100VI and get some photos for my review.  Comparing these photos to those I took in April, I’m seeing real growth as a photographer.  I’m seeing photo possibilities I couldn’t recognize just a few short months ago.  Different perspectives.  Better shots.  Here are the photos:

After shooting in the downtown area, I made my way over near the Dayton Dragon’s stadium, followed by Riverscape:

This was good work. Real creativity.  And of course, very enjoyable. I think I did a good job of matching the FujiFilm film simulations to the photos, but it was more than just film simulations.  It was the composition…the exposure triangle.  Good photography.

I’m looking forward to my next photo shoot.
