A Review Of The Delta Sky Club Lounge At The Atlanta Airport In Terminal F

During a recent trip to Europe, I had about four hours to kill in the Atlanta Airport and decided to do some lounge hoping.  I started out in the new Centurion Lounge in Terminal E (which you can read my review of by clicking here).  But I also wanted to sample the Sky Club Lounge that was a short tram ride, one terminal over from E in Terminal F.

I’m not going to bury the lead here – I liked this lounge quite a bit more than the larger and “fancier” Centurion Lounge that opened last year in Terminal E.  The buffet was smaller, but has more choices that I wanted, which included a Coke dispenser that was self-serve – much preferable to waiting in line at the bar:

Sure, their buffet was smaller and had fewer options but these roast beef and cheddar pretzel sliders really hit the spot.  They also had really good chocolate chip cookies and brownies.  I’ve never had a good cookie at at Centurion Lounge unfortunately.

They decor was perhaps dated but was comfortable and offered plenty outlets and of course free WiFi.  Timing is of course everything but when I hit this lounge there was no wait to get in and they had ample seating open:

They even had a really comfortable outdoor terrace.  Not a “fancy” or as well appointed as the Centurion terrace over in Terminal E, but quite enjoyable with plenty of open seats nonetheless:

I only stayed about 30 minutes before I had to head back to Terminal E to board my flight to Munich but couldn’t get over how much more I enjoyed the Terminal F Sky Club lounge over the Terminal E Centurion Lounge.  It really checked all the boxes of what I hope for in a private airport lounge experience.
