Last summer I took my family to spend a week on the Hawaiian island of Oahu – our family’s first trip to Hawaii.  The trip was amazing, and the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort where we stayed was absolutely first rate.  I did a complete travel report on the experience with lots of “touristy” photos from Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, the Dole Pineapple Plantation, and the other fun things we did which can be read by clicking here.    We had such a good time, we’re planning on taking a cruise to see all of the Hawaiian Islands next summer.  I decided to revisit the photos and found a select few that I took which came out well enough to show here on ThruMyLens.  Be sure to click on the photos to see a larger view.

Here’s a few photos taken at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort:

I don’t get to many good photos of myself, but this one came out well:

One morning we woke up to see the most beautiful rainbow I’ve ever seen – a double rainbow in fact:

My son and I very much enjoyed golfing at the Ko Olina Golf Club which is right on the Ihilani Resort’s property.  It was certainly one of the most beautiful and challenging courses we’ve ever played:

The beaches on the island of Oahu are amazing – we visited several during our stay.  Here’s the beach at the Ihilani Resort:

Never before have I seen such spectacular sunsets.  Here’s a shot I got of the resort at sunset:

Thanks for looking!
